ABOUT ME

I took photo 12 this year because I wanted to improve my skills and find my photographic style a little more. I also wanted to see how many of my photos could get up on the wall this year. This semester I have learned about the difference between high key and low key, and many more techniques for portrait studio shots. I think my portrait taking skills have improved this year through all the assignments. I hope to continue photography next year once I am out of school. Mostly just for fun, to document the adventures of university and maintain the skills and techniques I have learned through these courses.

What I found challenging about this course was being able to manage my time to get things in on time, and also finding new things to take pictures of. 

My favourite assignments this year were the copycat portraits, HDR for sure was probably number one, and pick three because of the freedom we got with it. The more challenging ones were high key/low key, and mirrors. Mirrors because it was difficult to come up with good ideas, and high key/low key because it was hard to find creative interesting ways. Overall, photo 12 was a great learning experience and I had a really great time!
